In June 2016 a client of ours, J&L Autos, referred us to FinanzaUK who were looking to rebrand and reposition the company to focus on car sales.
FinanzaUK had been established for a couple of years and wanted to diversify its propositions to budding car owners by not only offering finance to purchase a car, but the car too! They were also in the process of relocating its offices to the affluent area of Brockhall Village in the Ribble Valley, where Blackburn Rovers FC training ground is based.
We carried out some local competitor research in the area and customer demographics to identify the channels of communications for their audiences. Alongside this we spoke to previous customers and people who had referred them in the past to understand their brands inside out.
At testing groups the place name of ‘Brockhall’ had very positive feedback and perceptions with past and future customers, so the name Brockhall Car Sales was born.
The brand identity was rolled out through paid, owned, earned and shared media in time for the 2016 summer registration. This included company stationary, vehicle document folders, referral cards, signage, key shaped USB sticks, press advertisements, event sponsorship, radio, website, mobile App and social media.
Since the launch in summer 2016 the company has gone from strength to strength both in terms of brand awareness, sales and regular customers through referrals.
We’re already analysing the results to help Brockhall Car Sales expand into other markets throughout the UK early in 2017!
