J&L Autos is a garage offering all vehicle services and repairs and are located in Barrow, Lancashire a quite affluent area. They have been in business over 10 years and wanted to review and refresh their marketing, brand and channels of communication. They also wanted to expand their customer base and have a more proactive way of promoting MOT’s to help increase revenue.
We started by doing some local competitor analysis in the area and local customer demographics to identify the best messages and channels of communications for their audiences.
MOT’s was something very few garages were promoting and we also identified there was a big housing development programme in the surrounding areas, which was an ideal opportunity for J&L Autos to introduce themselves to.
We went back to the drawing board, simplifying and updating their logo, stationary and signage. We did a quality envelope and DM piece for people moving into the area, updated their current website, launched a new Facebook page and an APP.
The campaign started in June 2016 and so far the feedback has been very positive.
