It’s interesting how branding projects arise, few more random than the brand refresh for Zorba’s Takeaway on Whalley Road, Clayton-le-Moors, Accrington, which all began from a simple home pizza delivery.
After experiencing the quality of their food, value for money and service we simply had to work with them! One cold call led to a meeting where we were asked if we designed logos, menu’s, leaflets, shop signs, T-shirts and websites, because they were considering refreshing their brand. We very happily replied we do all of that and a whole lot more!
An important part of getting to know a brand is experiencing its products or services for yourself, so it was too irresistible not to buy some more food off their menu and encourage friends and family to do the same. The feedback was unanimous – high-quality food, value you for money and great service, which resulted in us thinking of Zorba’s in the future as a ‘Restaurant on wheels’ not a takeaway. At the same time, we invested time to get to know the owners better and their future wishes for the brand.
Our recommendation was to refresh the brand identity to reflect the reputation it had built for itself for its standard of food and service.
The client truly embraced our creativity and we couldn’t have asked for a better way for a client to decide which of our logo designs and colour options to choose from than by asking customers and suppliers opinions. The chosen design has since been translated into their signs, menu, website, mobile App and outdoor advertising.
Naveed, the owner of Zorba’s, has been nothing but enthusiastic about the rebrand and has received lots of positive feedback about the rebrand from his customers and suppliers.
‘Customer satisfaction comes first’ is Zorba’s strapline, and well, let’s just say complimentary additions to Brands Inside Outs takeaway deliveries, kind of says it all to us!
We have worked very closely in partnership with Naveed to help build the Zorba’s brand and expand their marketing channels throughout 2017 and we have some exciting plans for 2018!
