We first encountered 4KIDS Party and Play Centre when Carl was looking for a children’s play centre for his two girls to let off some energy after they’d been shopping in Clitheroe. Once found, both Carl and his girls were surprised that they had been open for nearly 10 years, but had never heard about it! They had a fantastic time and the facilities, friendly staff and quality of service and refreshments were outstanding!
However, after returning home it continued to niggle Carl that in living in the local area for over 12 years he hadn’t heard about 4KIDS before, so he decided to contact the owner Steve and the rest, as they say, is history!
We began by reviewing the brand, it’s positioning in the children’s entertainment market, their audience and establishing differentiators and USP’s from competitors in the surrounding areas. We also timed the rollout to coincide with their up and coming 10th Year Anniversary and refurbishment.
Our next steps were to refresh the logo and introduce a stronger use of colour which was introduced through new external signage, updated website and increased use of social media. The updated brand identity was then communicated internally through print (menu, loyalty card, leaflets, posters) and point of sale vinyl banners.
The customers gave positive feedback immediately on the refreshed brand and Steve was really pleased with the speed of impact it made.
