In a constantly evolving market how do you secure future success? Make sure your employees are aware of the contribution they make to it and get them engaged with the importance of working to the same goals?
It was just over a year since Ambition 10 had been introduced and as it continued to roll out across Thales UK, guiding a programme of specific achievements, we suggested checking how the strategy was progressing and its success within Thales UK.
You never get a true idea of how things are working without talking to the employees and collecting open and honest feedback. The challenge was that there was not a one solution fits all.
We worked alongside key stakeholders to determine the best ways to engage with their colleagues and encourage all audiences to participate. The result was a series of workshops up and down the country carried out over a 5 day period.
We designed a Managers Pack with a mixture of digital and print materials including a guide, previous years results brochure, presentation flip book, workbook, team structure z-card, intranet and animated films to help deliver key information in a consistent way.
And to get real proof of how the strategy was being delivered we ran a competition with a cash prize, for teams to submit examples of how they’d actively supported Ambition 10.
Since the introduction of Ambition 10, Thales UK has seen a rapid increase in employees’ understanding of the companies objectives and how they contribute to them by putting the values at the heart of everything they do.
